Township Assistance
Overseeing those in need and distributing relief
is an important responsibility. Washington Township
has many referral networks also available.
Township Finances
The trustee is responsible for submitting an annual
budget, paying and recording all claims for township
expenses, keeping accurate records and following all
financial guidelines according to Indiana Code, and
presenting an annual report.
Cemetery Maintenance
The trustee shall care for and maintain every abandoned
cemetery that is located in Washington Township.
